Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai

Transfer to Hanoi railway station for the night train to Lao Cai. (-/-/-)

Day 2: Lao Cai – Ban Ho – Thanh Phu – Sin Chai

After lunch you hike up to Sin Chai Village, home to Red Dzao minority, where you receive hospitality from the local. Spend overnight in bamboo huts in the village. (B/L/D)

Day 3: Sin Chai – Namtoong – Ban Ho – Sapa

After breakfast, take ½ day trekking to Nam Toong and Ban Ho where you meet our driver who takes you back to Sapa.  Once you leave Sin Chai, you will be attracted by immense mountainous area, en route you meet children with curious eyes as you are of few tourists passing by. Picnic lunch on the Ban Ho Pass. Reach Sapa in early afternoon. The rest of day is free at leisure. (B/L/-)

Day 4: Sapa – Lao Cai – Hanoi

Free and stroll around to visit weekend market, Jaw’s dragon mountain. Checkout and have lunch in a local restaurant. Visit Catcat village in the afternoon before heading to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi. Upon arrival Lao Cai, visit Vietnam – China border and the upper section of the Red River. (B/-/-)

Day 5: Hanoi

Arrival in Hanoi in early morning, transfer back to your hotel or airport. End of services.
