7 days Visit villages in the Red River Delta like, Hanoi city tour, Co loa citadel, 2300 years old, Thai Binh, and Halong Bay. It is easy to get around and find your nice stay so even your budget is limited but can find good services and interesting tours.Drive around scenic Red River Delta and have boat ride at Tam Coc to witness Halong Bay in-land. Relax by cruising and overnight on Bai Tho Junk in Halong Bay.
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour with History Museum, Temple of Literature and one-hour rickshaw tour to explore the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Then enjoy evening water puppet show. (-/-/D)
Day 2: Handcraft villages
After breakfast transfer to Bat Trang ceramic village. Then head to Bac Ninh province to visit But Thap Pagoda and Dong Ky woodcarving village. After picnic lunch we move to Co Loa ancient citadel and visit King An Duong Vuong Temple. Return to Hanoi. (B/L/-)
Day 3: Hanoi – Ninh Binh
Take scenic drive to Ninh Binh, 120 km south of Hanoi. Visit Dinh & Le temples built in the center of Hoa Lu ancient citadel. Drive to Tam Coc for lunch at a local restaurant. Then we take a boat ride along the Boi River and lime stone mountains where is regarded as “Halong Bay on Land” . Our boat will move through 3 grottoes. O/N in Ninh Binh. (B/L/-)
Day 4: Ninh Binh- Hai Phong
After breakfast we move to Thai Binh, stop-over at Tran dynasty Temple, Pho Minh Pagoda and Keo Pagoda. PM: transfer to Hai Phong. O/N in Hai Phong. (B/L/-)
Day 5: Hai Phong - Halong
Morning city tour with visiting to Hang Kenh Communal House, Flower market and Du Hang Pagoda. Then head to Halong. PM: take 5-hour cruise in Halong Bay, a World Heritage Site in Vietnam. Visit amazing Sung Sot cave. Swim at a golden beach if the weather permits. O/N on Junk in Halong Bay. (B/L/D)
Day 6: Halong - Hanoi
After breakfast continue to explore wonderful Halong Bay by our boat. Lunch served with seafood on boat. Meet our driver at about 12:00 and drive back to Hanoi. Have a stop at Dong Trieu ceramic workshop on the way. (B/L/-)
Day 7: Departure from Hanoi
Free until transfer to airport for departure. (B/-/-)
